Fast chose for Plant View 3 HMI SCADA's debut on the international scene the Hannover fair, world's leading showcase for industrial technology, automation and innovation. Last edition results leave no doubts: in five days over 205,000 people (among them 96% were trade professionals) visited the 6,090 exhibitors from 65 different countries covering a total of 205,100 square meters of display space in 24 halls. Fast was the only Italian company, among the most important companies from Europe and USA in industrial automation, participating in the booth of OPC foundation, no-profit organization to develop and promote OPC. The real interest shown by the booth's visitors confirms that OPC has been accepted as a worldwide standard for interoperability in industrial automation and process control and guarantees efficiency, robusteness and long term profits. Fast has been the first Italian company investing on OPC as the dominant technology for the future and its choice resulted to be the winning bet: the meetings with trade professionals coming from different countries all over the world had OPC as a common base for technical discussions. This is the proof of OPC technology beeing strongly consolidated in all fields of applications and representing a must for future developments. Plant View Suite applications, all based on OPC technology, had a great success among the visitors who appreciated the ease of use, the high level graphics, the flexibility and the opportunity to have the right product for the right price.
