Reducing leaks in the water networks. An event that yielded positive results.

Water leaks occur throughout the water supply network in Italy and almost 48% of the water supply withdrawn at the source and fed into the system does not reach the final user (Source: Istat 2019). Finding a solution that reduces this waste is not only necessary from an economic and efficiency point of view but is also an expression of our commitment towards our planet.

REDUCING LEAKS, FIND OUT HOW AT THE FAST EVENT.

From 9.00 am on 14 November, the FAST headquarters in Via Molino Poncino 4 in Scandiano, in the province of Reggio Emilia, will be hosting an exclusive, free event, in collaboration with Isle Utilities, on “Management of Leaks according to ARERA”, the Italian regulatory authority for energy, networks and the environment.

FAST Control Systems – The Standiana Water Treatment Plant

Officially opened in 2015 on the outskirts of Ravenna, the Standiana Water Treatment Plant, with a maximum potential of 1100 litres per second and the ability to produce 20 million cubic metres of drinking water a year, is one of the most advanced systems in the sector in the whole of Europe.
