For a week Emilia Romagna district has been one of the leading parts in “Myth and speed”, the great exhibition of Italian car industry, that took place in Shanghai's Science & Technics museum, organized by Italian government, ANFIA (National Association of car industries), Emilia Romagna and Piemonte districts. Inside “Myth and speed”, the “Week of the advanced mechanics in Emilia Romagna industry”, organized by Emilia Romagna and some of the most important industrial associations. Creator and protagonist of the event has been above all the Meccatronica Club of the enterpreneurs of Reggio Emilia, whose president is our CEO, Mr. Emilio Benati. The club prepared an institutional stand with a video presentation of HI Mech, the regional district of advanced mechanics recently recognized from the Government as district of excellence among the eight districts of Italian industrial high technology.
During the exhibition, the 23th of september, took place the meeting “Emilia Romagna: the advanced district of mechanics, motor engineering and mechatronics”, with the presence of Emilia Romagna president, Mr. Vasco Errani, the council member for production activities, Duccio Campagnoli and important Chinese and Italian industrial leaders. President Errani highlighted the way the Emilia Romagna industries of excellence have been really appreciated not only by the governement, but, most important, by the market itself. The council member Campagnoli based his speech on the key role of the companies in the area operating in mechatronics (mechanics, electronics and high tech software).
Fast SpA has also been an active part of the plan for supporting services for investments in China in advanced mechanics and mechatronics, promoted by Emilia Romagna Confindustria (confederation of industries) together with Reggio Emilia Entrepreneur Association. This project also included an economical mission of associated enterprises in China. During this mission the Reggio Emilia Entrepreneur Association was present with a booth in one of the most important international exibitions in advanced mechanics and mechatronics: PTC Asia in Shangai from October 12th to October 17th. Our marketing manager, Mr. P. Cavalli, represented Fast Spa in both the events. Our presence in Shangai, as leader representative of regional and national industry, gives evidence of the intensity and the quality of the work Fast carried out in the last few years and confirms the importance of investments in research and development, always our strong point.
