S.I. barrier for external power supply of units installed in hazardous areas
G-Power is the S.I. barrier for supplying power to G-Log+ and Genius 3.
G-Power has been designed to comply with EN60079-0 and EN60079-11.
The constant power supply of the RTUs ena- bles real-time communication and other en- ergy-intensive functions.
G-Power is available in two versions:
- G-Power-PP: can be used in systems powered
by photovoltaic panel and microturbine. - G-Power-INS: can be used when the system is connected to the electricity distribution network. G-Power generates a digital signal towards the
hazardous area to signal the low level
of the primary supply voltage. - G-Power can be supplied with IP65 or IP20 protection (suitable for DIN rail installations).
G-Power has an RS485 S.I. serial line that con- nects the RTU to the safe zone with ModBus pro- tocol.
The GPNAMUR option allows you to power two NAMUR sensors installed in a hazardous area. The GPIO circuit board allows you to acquire In- put/Output signals, the status of which is trans- mitted to the RTU via the RS485 serial line.
